To put it mildly, Jamie Mambro and I took a lot of heat when we unleashed this campaign. The church was livid. Especially in Boston. (And if you've seen Spotlight, you know what I'm talking about). All of which made life, um, problematic for Hill Holliday founder, Jack Connors, whose ties to the diocese ran deep. To his credit, instead of firing us, while not pleased, Jack stood by us. The campaign drew news coverage like moths to a flame.
